Supported Browsers for the Studio:

The Ceros Studio will work across all of the major browsers with the exception of Internet Explorer. Due to the lack of Canvas support in IE, we do not recommend this browser for designing in the Studio. Listed below are the supported browsers for studio use:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari

Supported Browsers for Published Experiences:

Published Ceros Experiences work in current versions of the following browsers on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Edge*
  • Android (Chrome)
  • iOS (Safari and Chrome)

Your published content will work on desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones running most modern browsers. These browsers all update automatically, so the vast majority of users will have a current version.

*Please note: As of September 2021, we officially discontinued support for viewing Ceros Experiences in Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge Legacy.

Why Did We Do This?

Microsoft pulled the plug on IE 11 and Microsoft Edge Legacy in August of 2021. Since IE 11 and Microsoft Edge Legacy are no longer being updated or monitored by Microsoft for bugs and security issues, it’s nearly impossible for our team to resolve problems that arise on these browsers.

By ceasing support for IE 11, we can invest more time and effort into making the Ceros studio more robust and user-friendly.

What Should You Do?

If you are concerned about visitors trying to access your experiences from an unsupported browser, you can specify a redirect URL in the settings panel of each experience to drive them to a URL of your choosing.

What will people visiting from unsupported browsers see?

When a user tries to access your experience from an unsupported browser, they will be prompted with the option to download a newer supported browser (see below) or will be automatically redirected to a URL of your choosing. This URL can be designated on an experience by experience basis in the settings panel.

Unsupported Browser 2

Just like any web page, factors such as device memory, internet connection, and the amount of content in your Experience can affect performance. If you’re having trouble in a supported browser, try testing a lighter version of your Experience with fewer pages, graphics, and videos.
