Adding Custom Brand Fonts to Studio

The Font Library gives you access to 1000+ different Google Fonts and all of their variations. However, we know variety is the spice of life, which is why we also support Uploaded Fonts.

Upload your Own Fonts

Uploading fonts to your account is as simple as drag and drop.

  • Draw out a text layer on your canvas

  • With the text layer selected, navigate to the Design panel

  • Within the Typography section, click the plus (+) icon next to Font, this will open the Font Library

  • At the top of the Font Library menu, make sure Uploaded Fonts is selected

  • Drag and drop your font files into the Font Library

  • To use this uploaded font immediately in your experience, be sure that it is selected (a blue checkmark (âś“) will appear within the font's tile/box in the library once selected) and appears under Experience Fonts on the right side of the Font Library

And that’s it! Your uploaded font can be added to any text layer in your experience. Additionally, these fonts will now be available to all Ceros users within an account, so other users won't need to re-upload them. Click here to learn how to add and edit text in Studio.

Supported Font Types

Ceros currently supports TrueType Font .ttf, OpenType Font .otf, and Web Open Font Format .woff.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I recently uploaded a font, but do not see it in my Font dropdown menu. What happened?

A: Fonts still need to be selected in the Font Library and added to individual experiences. Ensure the fonts you want to use have a checkmark next to them in the library and are listed in the “Experience Fonts” section.

Q: I tried to add a font but I got the following error message: This font is already in your library. Change your file name if you want to upload it.”

A: Someone in your organization has already uploaded this font file, or it is already available from Google Fonts. Try searching for it in the Font Library.

Q: I want to use a Non-Latin font. Does Ceros support this?

A: The short answer: not currently. The long answer: some different language/non-Latin fonts will work fine on the platform, however, we have been unable to do extensive testing to fully support this. We recommend visiting the Google Fonts site and searching by language for your font. Once found you can then locate that font name in the Font Library.

Q: Are Asian fonts supported?

A: Asian Fonts are currently not supported for font upload.

Q: My font is a supported file however it keeps failing to upload. What now?

A: We’ve done extensive testing uploading 3,000+ fonts, but we can't possibly test them all. If you have a specific font you’re struggling with, please ensure it is not corrupt. You may also reach out to our support team via chat or at [email protected] for assistance with font upload issues. We cannot guarantee that every font will be compatible with the Studio.

Q: Will my imported fonts be available in an exported experience?

A: Yes. We convert all uploaded font files to .woff and CSS which will be included in your exported assets.

Q: How do I delete a font I accidentally uploaded?

A: At this time, you cannot delete uploaded fonts.
