Digital Craft Weekly is a curated design inspiration resource for interactive designers and storytellers consisting of the best new digital projects. Published each Monday, our mission is to inspire new ways of creating interactive content and immersive digital experiences.
Subsign Homepage by Subsign
Except for the occasional Google Doodle, you’ve likely never had the patience to stare at a homepage for this long before. In any case, the explosion of color that greets you at the landing page for Subsign, a Romania-based digital design agency, had us clicking ‘refresh’ more than once. To put it bluntly; yes, we were “wowed”.
Vision Run by Essilor
To help better communicate the differences between their optical lenses, Essilor created this web-based runner game to virtually recreate the experience of wearing the different lenses in different conditions. While the game itself isn’t necessarily memorable, the way in which the designers virtually recreated different vision impairments most certainly is.
Stranger Games by Joey Cato
Who doesn’t love Stranger Things by now? As a celebration of his love for the show, game developer Joey Cato re-imagined the show as a playable video game collection created in 1983 to match the story’s setting. Dustin approves.
Pursuit of Sound by Biborg
Created as a self-promotional vehicle to show off their design chops, the Pursuit of Sound is an epic in-browser game from Paris-based studio Biborg. From the retro-inspired graphics to the Google Cardboard-integration, we’re digging this piece this week.
Black Pepper by 84.Paris
While technology has advanced remarkably over the past century, we’re still yet to transmit smells through our computers. Major bummer. In the meantime, clever interactive experiences such as Black Pepper by 84.Paris for Comme des Garçons will do just fine.
